Artificial Turf Maintenance
The maintenance for artificial turf is very easy for its advantages, Duraturf artificial turf is produced by computerized imported machine. Since we use the high quality imported grass yarn, our artificial turf is very durable, has high wear-resistance and high UV-stability. Daily maintenance only keeps the turf surface clean and provides players a comfortable sports environment.
A. Basic Requirements
¡îTo keep the grass surface clean.
¡îTo set a ¡°No smoking¡± sign near the sports field.
¡îTo prohibit motor vehicle or heavy articles running into the surface.
¡îTo reduce the times of cleaning, don¡¯t clean at high temperature.
¡îTo set enough garbage cans.
¡îTo repair small damaged immediately.
B. Cleaning and Maintenance.
¡îTo clean off garbage after the event.
¡îTo come the grass by a special brush every 2 weeks, to remove the dirt and leaves.
¡îTo rake the rubber pellet and sand monthly or after frequent events.
¡îTo wash the dust on the turf surface.
¡îTo spray water on the grass to bring cool to players in hot summer.
C. To remove dirt
¡îFor liquid dirt such as juice, milk, ice-cream, blood etc, you can wipe off with soaps, then wash by clean water.
¡îFor oil stains such as shoe polish, suntan lotion, ball-point ink etc, you can use chlorine ethylene to wipe it, then use a towel to absorb the water.
¡îFor dirt of paraffin, picth etc, you can wipe them hardly, or use chlorine ethylene to wipe them off.
¡îFor dirt of mail polish, you can use acetone to wipe them off.
¡îFor dirt of gum, you can use Freon to wipe it off.
¡îFor dirt of fungus or mildew, you can use 1% hydrogen peroxide to wipe them off.
D. Check and Repair
¡îCheck the seams carefully, make sure there is no loose, if damage on the back of the turf is found, you should contact Installation Company if there is serious damage.
¡îHeavy rain or spray cleaning can flow some sand away, you should re-supply some sand, rubber pellets when necessary.
E. Prohibition
¡îNon-smoking¡¢setting off fireworks and welding etc.;
¡îNon-leaving aside gum, shell, juice etc;
¡îTo prohibit motor vehicle or heavy artificial running into the surface;
¡îDon¡¯t wear spiked shoes and avoid javelin etc, which can damage the grass further;
¡îNo use of chemical cleaner, weed killer or insecticide. |
